DACA recipients cannot travel outside of the United States without first obtaining permission to travel from USCIS (i.e., advanced parole). Although this permission to travel was suspended by the Trump Administration, as of December 7, 2020, advanced parole for DACA recipients has been restored. DACA recipients can therefore apply for permission to travel abroad in limited circumstances.
